About
WHO WE ARE
The Myo-Care National Foundation is the first NGO in Egypt to promote patients’ care, education, and research cure for muscular dystrophy. We are a non-profit foundation founded in 2019 by a passionate group of national and international experts in muscular dystrophy. The foundation does not solicit funding from patients or other sources.
MISSION
The Foundation focused strategy includes funding and actively monitoring the progress of academic and scientific research projects in key pathways toward a cure and encouraging collaboration among scientists in Egypt.
In 2021 Myo-Care established the muscular dystrophy medical center in partnership with the NGU community hospital in Saida Aisha to provide free essential resources and experts for better care and patient management.
