The NMGC is a collaborative work with Myo-Care Foundation & the WMS initiative “Myology development across the world.”

The scientific committee

The scientific committee is NMD experts from the Eastern Mediterranean region and five Egyptian institutes working with the WMS board members to provide a scientific forum of international experts and medical professionals working in neuromuscular disorders and genetics.

The program

The program highlights the regional challenges and updates in multidisciplinary care and novel therapeutics in neuromuscular disorders.

Delegates

Delegates include myologists, geneticists, neurologists, pediatricians, cardiologists, physiotherapists, industry, and postgraduates.

The post-congress workshop

The WMS executive board members lead the one-day workshop to provide training and mentoring opportunities for young academics and post-doctors from the Eastern Mediterranean region on manuscript writing. The winning participants will receive publication grants sponsored by the WMS.
